Floris has advised, amongst others, KLM, KLM Cargo, Garuda Indonesia, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Delhi Airport and TNT Express

   

Sunny Ja
Senior Manager - Operations Research

Sunny Ja is an Senior Manager in the department of Operations Research and Advanced Analytics of American Airlines. He leads a team of operations research professionals in development, implementation and delivery of decision support systems for airline network development, scheduling, and capacity planning. His current research interests are in airline Revenue Management optimization models, airline Revenue Management O&D network simulation, and airline Scheduling models. He also serves as the technical chair of AGIFORS Revenue Management Study Group since 2004. He received his MS and PhD degrees in Operations Research from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

   

Seth van Straten

After finishing his studies in both Industrial Engineering& Management as well as Dutch Private Law, Seth started working for KLM Revenue Management as part of the Air France – KLM group. He quickly became Inventory Team Manager within the Joint Venture of Air France – KLM / Delta Airlines and Alitalia, responsible for all KLM flights to North America and a joint revenue budget exceeding USD 10 billion. Currently he is helping China Eastern in preparing for a potential move towards an O&D Revenue Management System.

In her current role, she advises airlines how to use competitive insights far beyond simple air fare comparison. Since 2006, she has been responsible for implementing INFARE competitor fare availability data by over 100 airlines. Prior joining INFARE, she was with IATA in Geneva as Assistant Director Interline & Revenue Management Solutions. She was involved in Flex Fares project, where face-to-face airline meetings have been replaced by an e-tariffs online voting platform and Flex fares are produced by a mechanism to address competition concerns while maintaining the benefits of interlining for consumers. She started her airline career by Austrian Airlines, and held various roles in Ground Handling, Marketing & Advertising and Pricing Departments in Istanbul, New York and Vienna. She is a frequent speaker at AGIFORS Revenue Management Study Group. Born in Istanbul,Turkey , Mrs.Parlak speaks Turkish, English and German fluently.
   
Raja Kasilingam, Ph.D.

He has over 30 years of experience in rail and air cargo consulting, software solutions, and IT services. His specialization includes revenue management, pricing, and scheduling. Raja was part of the team that implemented the world’s first ever air cargo capacity forecasting and overbooking system at a major airline in 1992 and the first O&D based cargo allotment system at large international airline in 1996. He also led the design and development of the first air cargo pricing decision support system in 2012 and the first cruise ferry freight RM system in 2014.
